MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts is slated to become the first cable news anchor to marry someone of the same sex. Roberts is expected to marry his partner Patrick Abner late this September.

Out Australian Olympian Ji Wallace publicly announced he is HIV positive. Wallace is a trampolinist who won a silver at the 2000 Sydney Games and was inspired to make the public announcement after seeing an interview with US diver Greg Louganis about his battle with HIV.
