Sky’s The Limit
Jaime Kruse

Hey! I’m Jaime Kruse, known by some as J. Sky. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and then made the move to St. Paul, Minnesota for college, where I graduated with a degree in Social Justice, Legal Studies, and Women’s Studies. I am now embarking on my next journey, to Massachusetts for Law School, where I will be concentrating in Gender and Sexuality Studies.

This is 100% me. With is blog I will share my story, especially my experiences with being a female-to-male (FTM) student and young adult attempting to make it in the grown-up world. I’m an honest person who speaks their mind and enjoys having conversations that revolve around identities and intersections.

Transitioning from high school to college is huge for anyone embarking on that journey, but starting the journey as one person and continuing as another, that’s a journey that not many people know how to grasp. Being transgender, I know just how hard the journey can be. How do you tell you roommates, teammates, and professors? What if you are a student athlete? How do you tell your family? Most important, how do you accept yourself? For those out there who are going through a similar journey, whether as a Trans* person or any other identity within the LGBTQIA alphabet, I want you to know that you are not alone.

This blog is for everyone. Even though I’m the one talking, I want this to be what you would like to hear, so please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, comments, topics, etc. This is a Safe Zone.

Remember, regardless to where you are on your own personal journey, as long as you stay true to who you are, The Sky’s The Limit!
